Singapore - Marina Bay

If we compare Singapore to KL, I will say it is just another city. Wait, not just another city, I love the public transportation there compared to the ones in KL. You can get around very easily without having to chase after busses! If you miss one, just wait for another. Unlike in KL, if you missed one bus, you have to wait for another hour!!!!

There is a shuttle bus from Changi Airport to Marina Bay Sands at Terminal 1 with an interval of 30 minutes. It is said to be free for hotel guests only, whilst other passengers are required to pay a fee of SGD$2. But, the bus driver did not ask for it, so I did not bother to pay too. :)

Yes, of course I'm of age to enter the casino. It's different from Genting. Genting's casinos seem more happening than this one. The casino was pretty empty in the morning. It is not open 24 hours like Genting's.

Inside the mall

Sampan service SDG$5 per trip (just in the mall)

Rain Oculus (top view)

View in the mall

Tickets to the sky park

Its SGD$20 per person and extra SGD$1 for the audio guide (which I think is rather useless).

The way to the sky park is by a lift - up to the 57th floor. It takes less than a minute to reach there. So imagine the speed of the lift. You could feel the pressure in your ears!

At the sky park

If you are not interested in viewing the city from high up, then perhaps the sky park won't be something you will like.

The esplanade

Not sure what this is

Youth Olympic Stadium

Singapore Flyer

Ships

It's called Skypark for a reason...

Imagine just lying there enjoying

Omg! He's gonna jump!

Fooled ya!

This pool is something that amazes me. You get to lean at the edge. Sadly, this pool is only open for hotel guests. :( So I just get to see but I cannot go there.. :( I wonder if it will make us feel as though we are gonna fall.

View of Skypark from the ground

Helix Bridge

This bridge forms the shape of a DNA. If I'm not mistaken, it represents Singapore's continuity. It looked rather dull during the day, but I'm sure it will look better at night with the lights.

The view after crossing the Helix Bridge

It was a day of walking and walking and walking. Walked from there to Esplanade, to Suntec.

And of course, there must be food....

Singapore Laksa

I kinda like the laksa. It's very different from Sarawak's Laksa. The smell of santan is so strong. I will say I love it better than the Penang Asam Laksa.

The last stop was to Suntec's Fountain of Wealth.

The Fountain of Wealth light show

During the day, there will be groups and groups of people walking towards the middle (i.e the fountain of wealth) to touch the water. It is believed that by touching it, you will be wealthy..

I did not touch the water before the show started. I watched this from the top, and of course, when I go nearer to the rails, I could feel the water. Hmmm.. Does a light shower counts? When will I be wealthy?
