The tickets are expensive this year... RM110 per ticket. On normal days, it costs RM60 to gain entry to the Cultural Village.
I bought 2 tickets with a 50% discount, and got the 3rd one by winning a contest organised by the local Newspaper - The Borneo Post. :)
I went there in the morning because they have workshop before the main event (at night).
It rained on the first and third day. I was lucky the second day was a good day.
Since it was held at the cultural village, we went to visit the different cultural 'houses', and tried a few stuff
You are allowed to take your creation back when it's dry. I went back to check on it around evening time and it was not dry enough, and the person in charged said I could come back later and take it.
The sad part was, someone took my creation! :( I really wished I took it before anyone could lay their hands on MY CREATION! UGH~!
(Like a modern xylophone)
No, I did not fall!
Henna - RM10
The workshops started at 2pm to 5.15pm. There were 3 workshops going on simultaneously at 3 different places, The theater, the hall, and the Longhouse. There were 9 workshops altogether in a day with each lasting for 45 minutes and a 30 minutes break before the next workshop.
The Theater - only place with air conditioning
The prices of the food are more expensive than usual but it's okay and almost the same as last year's.
Since it was an open air consert, we searched for a place to sit. The concert started at 7pm.
Yeah, we were sitting on gravels! The muddy part right in front of the stage is for those who wish to dance, and yes, I was lucky to see some great hip-hop dance on that day :D - but I did not manage to snap a picture of the guy dancing. :(
See the RED arrow above? That's how tiny I look in the big crowd.
