Funny, I'm down with a flu again!

I went to Dave's on the EVE of my Birthday. YES. For every celebration, there's an EVE, and I celebrate the EVE of my birthday too.

Dave, is a non-halal restoran. I've wanted to try this for quite sometime but due to the pricing, I have to wait for occasions to justify spending on unreasonable food pricing. :D

The Pork Ribs - RM48

The mashed potato is pretty good. The veggies consist of Broccoli (like usual), carrot, and french bean. All blanched only. :) The potato wedges are just bearable.... BUT..

The pork RIBS >>> FANTASTIC! It's so soft, the sauce was great. The ribs were marinated long enough to have the taste in the meat. It was only half portion. I think the full portion cost around RM90+ (I can't really remember)

The meat was sooooo soft that I could 'clean' them up like this...

Only thing I don't understand... Why do they give 1 little tiny drop of mustard? It doesn't blends in with the taste of the sauce. Oh, and they gave extra sauce too. That's how I made the 'eyes', 'mouth', and 'hair'.

This is the Roast Pork. It's only available from Thursday night onwards.

Same side dishes. This one tasted better with mustard. It is very soft too. Not too fatty. I love the skin. :D But I still prefer the Pork Ribs.

This restaurant is practically full everyday. When I went, I had to sit outside (the smoking area) But I'm glad people were there to eat and no one smoked. :) Or perhaps the pork itself was SMOKING delicious. LOL

If you want a place to try something new, or perhaps impress your date with expensive food, this is perhaps the place you should go. Oh, make sure he/she takes pork. :D
